Ealing Road CPZ Proposal

Hi Can anyone please help? I live on Ealing Road and I understand there is a proposal to start a CPZ. From what I hear, only one side of Ealing Road will have this, while the other side will not. Can anyone please explain to me why, as all that will happen is people will park on other side (Numbers 48-62 where there is parking on the side), and we as residents will have no where park. As it is, parking is a nightmare.  This is going to cause massive issues on one side of Ealing Road and I fear may cause some major issues amongst a friendly neighbours. Parking on the estate behind is not an option, as I personally don’t want to leave my Car where I can not see it. I think as my address is Ealing Road, we should be treated the same and not left out the plans as this is going to cause a huge problem, especially on event days Can anyone pls help, as I am trying to get hold of the council and just being sent around to different departments?

Hi Just to let you know that I got a very quick response from Ruth, I am actually shocked how fast it was, so I can see this is on her radar and very helpful. See response below:"Thank you for getting in touch.Yes we are well aware of the problem of parking on both sides of Ealing Road.  Originally only the west side was going to be consulted, but now the next round of consultation means that both sides will be.As you probably know, a CPZ will only be installed if a majority of residents on the affected road support it, so you will want your neighbours to also support the proposal.YoursCllr Ruth Cadbury"I also contacted Mary Macleod, but so far not heard anything.
