A plug for the Local History event (Brentford 1914 and more) advertised on the front page of this website and which is being held today at Brentford Library from 11am till 4 30pm.The upstairs splendid and not often accessible meeting room will no doubt be bulging with exhibites, pictures, booklets and a wealth of information...compiled by Brentford's fine team of historians and archivists. Their knowledge and interest is formidable.Admission is free and there are light refreshments available.Please pop in and attend this Community Event if you can.
