Robbers Slash Face of Teenage Victim

Brave resistance leaves attackers empty handed

A 18 year old woman was the victim of a savage attack after a man attempted to snatch her handbag. The incident occurred outside the Guinness Trust Building estate on Fulham Palace Road on 28th September at 10.02pm.

She bravely resisted the two men who attacked her but received a laceration to her right cheek approximately 4 cms in length which required stitching. It is not thought that the wound will leave a permanent scare.

The victim had just got off the 295 Bus and entered an alley way onto the Estate (this is the only entrance). As she was about to turn right someone grabbed her from behind and pulling her hood over her head and face. She was dragged to the floor as they tried to take of her handbag. She resisted and they were unable to take it.

As she was on the floor she noticed something sharp on her face but didn’t see anything. The first suspect said to his accomplice ‘common bruv, let’s go, leave her’. She was then kicked in the face. She believes they then tried to pull her necklace from her neck but later noticed once in the hospital that she still had it on her. She only saw 2 males attack her. No property was taken.

The man she heard speaking is described as a black male about 6’ in height and approximately 20 years old, thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie and black tracksuit bottoms.

The second man was also a black male but lighter skinned that the other man, probably mixed race. He was of a big build about 5’7” in height but his victim couldn’t describe how old he might be. He was wearing a black flat cap and a black top which had a Nike Air Max logo and grey tracksuit bottoms.
