One arrest made after killing off Shepherd’s Bush Road

A 42-year-old man has been fatally stabbed this Thursday evening (1 March) on a residential road in Hammersmith.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at Melrose Gardens, W6 shortly after paramedics were called at 5.40pm.
Police have arrested a 32-year-old man who was at the scene on suspicion of murder. He was known to the victim. He was taken into custody at a south London police station where he remains at this time.
Although the victim has not been formally identified police believe they know who he is and his next of kin have been informed.
The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) are investigating, and detectives are not seeking anyone else in connection with this murder.
