Now booking: courses during July and August. Discover an exciting approach to this most rewarding of art practices with local artist Peter Burgess.

The Evening School introduction course is now booking for the 5th July: Wednesdays 7-10pm

The Day School introduction course is now booking for the 4th July: Tuesdays 2-5pm .

There will be a Weekend Intensive Introduction course on 12/13th August. Recommended as a taster or it you don't have the time to do a regular course, this weekend will get you started.

All courses take place at Pavilion Studios, Dukes Meadows, Chiswick W4 2RX.

Small groups working in once weekly three-hour sessions quickly pick up and gain confidence in a wide range of skills. Key to this approach is getting you to discover the strengths in your own particular character as a painter and to work from them. We learn all the time from the Masters – but there is no one style to copy!

Following the Introductory course, there will be the option to continue working with Peter in group or one-to-one sessions covering Portraiture, Abstraction, etc.

Flexible Deal : To make it easier for you to juggle commitments, if you know in advance that you will not be able to make one or two of the dates and let me know, the course fee can be adjusted accordingly

Advanced courses are running from Tuesday 4th July (Evening School ) and Wednesday 5th July (Day School). These are open to students who have either taken the Introduction To Oil Painting Course or who can demonstrate equivalent experience.
