Spring Clean For Charity This Year

Let Recycled Future help you help good causes

With only another month or so until Spring, many of us are feeling the urge to clear out the clutter. At Recycled Future, we want to help you to tidy your cupboards and do something good as well. Let us take all those unwanted, unloved items off your hands and at the same time you donate to good causes and protect the environment.

Recycling is easy – having nothing is tough. At Recycled Future we transform unwanted clothes, shoes and household textiles by finding them new homes overseas or recycling it in the UK, reducing the 1.4 million tonnes of clothing going to landfill every year while also raising money for charity.

It couldn’t be easier. Just put your unwanted clothes, shoes, household textiles and gadgets like mobile phones and tablets into bags and donate or get in touch to arrange a collection at your convenience.

Our highly trained staff will sort your donations into different grades – good quality clothing and shoes go straight to Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia where they’ll find a new home to be worn again.

Any ripped or damaged clothes or other textiles will also get a new lease of life, after being recycled and turned into anything from mattress filling to fibres for another piece of clothing. Nothing is wasted or sent to landfill so you’ll not only do your bit to slow global warming, you’ll be reducing the pollution involved in constantly producing new products.

Our partner charities, Winton’s Wish, Hestia and Chase Shooting Stars, receive up to 50p per kilo of textiles donated in our clothing banks and from household collections. They currently include leading childhood bereavement charity Winston’s Wish and Hestia, supporting the homeless and vulnerable. We would welcome other charities interested in getting involved.

If you are a West London school, sports club, church or other organisation now is the time to consider hosting your own clothing bank. It is a great way for pupils, parents and the community to help get involved in raising funds for themselves. It is a great way to increase awareness of environmental issues and recycling and learn about the communities helped by donations.
