Have You Been To Club Workspace Chiswick?

Make going to work the best part of your day

Tucked in behind the High Road’s Chisou restaurant on the Barley Mow Passage, Club Workspace is a fantastic solution for self-employed folk based in West London. In fact, we are fast becoming west London’s premier hub for creativity and innovation. Now an integral part of the *Barley Mow Centre’s wider business community, Club Workspace provides its members with a truly purposeful space in which to put the anchor down, log onto a business class wi-fi, have a cup of fresh coffee, and put the world to rights with other like-minded SME owners.

Entrepreneurs of all types are now using Club’s venue in Chiswick to grow their business operations. Saying no to the journey to Shoreditch is what we’re all about. From 8am until 8pm - Monday to Friday – Club Workspace is open for business. The contemporary, functional design is easy on the eye, with bespoke furnishings providing some cool yet practical spaces and nooks for getting work done.

Members can choose from dropping in and out of the shared areas – all dotted with plug sockets – or even choose to have their own desk. The ‘suitcase’ desks are the cherry on top of Club Chiswick’s design cake. If you can imagine an oversized old-school flip-top desk fitted with subtle lighting, ethernet ports, and plug sockets, then you’re just about there. ‘Your Desk’ members can also pin schedules and notes to the underside of their desk lid meaning that, when in use, they really do feel like an all-encompassing mini office. Club Workspace has a Spring offer on the Chiswick desks – contact details are all below.

One of the major, tangible benefits of Club membership is that unlike businesses who rent their own office, Club members do not have to pay extra for data and telecoms, business rates, service charge, utilities, coffee, and cleaning. All of these costly essentials are included in the Club membership, which eradicates a serious amount of hassle and expense, and allows members to focus on growing their businesses.

Unlock the rest of London
Although Club Chiswick is proud to be increasingly thought of as a west London hub for entrepreneurs, its members are in no way bound to just Chiswick. Club Workspace membership can include access to a total of five similarly fantastic venues in some very strategic spots around London. If you find yourself in Waterloo, Farringdon, London Bridge, or Kennington for example, and in need of a thoughtfully designed space to work at in-between appointments or even to host a meeting yourself, then you might appreciate dropping into any of Club’s other venues in the capital.

The ‘EverydayEverywhere’ package is the key to the whole Club network and right now there is a 25% discount on that level of membership meaning absolutely everything at Club Workspace can be accessed 5 days a week for just £225.00 per month. If you are interested in an all access membership or maybe something in between that’s tailored to suit your bespoke needs, then please do get in touch with any of the Club team using the contact details below.

What’s happening @clubworkspace?
Club members are a sociable breed and love to use their access to Club’s venues to expand their contacts books and investigate collaborative opportunities with other entrepreneurs. Apart from the kitchen areas and inherent joie de vivre of our members, the main platform for social interaction at Club is an increasingly busy events calendar. Broadly speaking, the content of most events is applicable to anyone who is self-employed – and can range from panel discussions on PR techniques, to Q&As with legal experts on intellectual property.

In fact, Chiswick’s Club space transforms in the evening into an atmospheric, 100+ seater auditorium. Since its opening in November last year, Club has co-hosted some really cracking occasions in W4 with several dynamic, high-profile event partners. ‘Entrepreneurs In London’ and local network, TV Triangle, have both brought style and content to Club’s shores. More low-key evenings include JPA Spanish, designed for anyone wanting to brush up on their Espanol whilst promoting their business to a new, local audience.

Aside from the learning though, the arguably bigger benefit of these evening events is to take a break from the rigors of running a business and relax over a glass of wine with interesting people who are in the same boat.

Does anyone shop at John Lewis?
Talking of initiatives, Club workspace was delighted itself recently to announce a new scheme to honour the loyalty and power of its own members recommending our spaces to others. Indeed, any Club member who introduces a friend or contact to Club Workspace can consider themselves the proud owner of a £50.00 tab at their nearest John Lewis – which for westerners applies to Peter Jones in Sloane Square too!

There’s an article on the Club Workspace Blog all about it. NB. Straight-forward terms and conditions apply!

Delicious member offers!
Being neighbours of Sam’s Brasserie is a fabulous perk of working here on the Barley Mow Passage. Indeed, as well as the exciting prospect of working together with Sam’s to provide informative wine-tasting evenings at Club Workspace, Sam’s has also recently announced a special offer whereby all Club Workspace members can receive a 15% discount on any non-promotional food and drink bill. Club Workspace is delighted to be working with such a high quality partner – in Sam’s Brasserie– on these two initiatives. Follow @samsbrasserie on Twitter for all the latest.
