Brentford Festival This Sunday

Catch a vintage Red Routemaster to take you door to door

Brentford Festival 2016

The Brentford Festival is on this Sunday in Blondin Park.  Banners have gone up and some of us have been lucky enough to receive flyers through our letterboxes.

A vast amount of effort continues to go into organising this ever popular event, organised by the community for the community, and is certainly worthy a visit.

RedRoutemasterTo encourage everyone to leave their cars at home RedRoutemaster are offering a free shuttle service to the event and an opportunity to travel on this iconic vehicle.  In addition they have organised a transport display of old vehicles which will include buses, old police cars and even a vintage ice-cream van.

This year there are over 90 charity, commercial and self-help stalls to add to the fairground attractions, pony rides and international cuisine.

Music and dance, supping real ale from the CAMRA run bar, what more could you want but support your local community.
