Last year's production of The Importance of Being Earnest in the Walled Garden
April 24, 2026
The Arts Centre Hounslow has unveiled the full programme for the Walled Garden Summer Season 2026, confirming its largest and most ambitious line-up to date at Boston Manor Park. The outdoor festival, now entering its third full year, will feature 55 performances across 14 productions, alongside the return of the Walled Garden Beer Festival. More than 1,500 tickets have already been sold ahead of opening, signalling strong early demand for one of West London’s fastest-growing cultural events.
The season has expanded rapidly since its pilot year and now combines in-house repertory theatre with visiting concerts, comedy, family shows and new musical theatre. Artistic Director Jonathan Ashby said the programme has become something audiences “actively plan their summer around”, describing the 2026 line-up as the strongest yet.
This year’s programme includes a new open-air musical adaptation of Wind in the Willows, a lively restoration-style staging of She Stoops to Conquer, and a concert performance of The Pirates of Penzance. The Olivier Award-winning company behind Showstopper! The Improvised Musical will also appear, creating a brand-new musical live each night from audience suggestions.
Comedy headliners Paul Sinha and Jamali Maddix will lead the stand-up offering, while the season’s musical theatre strand includes Miscast Musicals and two new Entr’Act concerts: Greenacres and Bluebells Grow in Whitechapel. A series of major tribute concerts rounds out the programme, including Dreamcoat Stars, The Simon & Garfunkel Story, The Carpenters Experience, This One’s For You (celebrating Elton John), and This One’s For Frankie (featuring the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons).
Alongside the performance schedule, the Boston Manor Beer Festival will return for a weekend of local breweries, live entertainment and community celebration within the Walled Garden.
The Arts Centre Hounslow says the season has quickly become a cultural focal point for the borough, offering a mix of classic theatre, family entertainment, comedy and music in a distinctive outdoor setting. With strong early booking and audiences returning year after year, the Walled Garden Summer Season is positioning itself as a must-visit destination for London theatre-goers and families.
Tickets for all productions are now on sale at wgsummerseason.co.uk.
