Something For Everyone at Capel Manor Gardens

Visit the Gardens Over the Summer

FREE garden tours!

If you find Capel’s 30 acre estate a little daunting then why not pop along for one of their FREE guided walks with a Capel Gardener. Every Tuesday at 2pm, until September, one of Capel’s Gardeners will be on hand to pass on their first hand knowledge of this stunning venue. You’ll be treated to an insight into the history of the college and the estate (which dates back to the 13th Century), an explanation of some of the unique garden designs, interesting plants and varieties that can be seen at Capel plus you’ll no doubt discover parts of the gardens you didn’t realise existed!

These tours are usually only available for group bookings of 20 or more (with an additional tour fee) making this a fantastic opportunity to be taken advantage of. Standard entry fees apply but there’s no additional tour fee and no need to book, but places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and will run subject to weather conditions. So get your walking shoes on and make your way to Capel next Tuesday.
