Strand-on-the-Green School

Beautifully located school that has put in a sound performance across all the Key Stage 2 disciplines. The school has three form entry in both juniors and infants making it the largest primary in the area. It is split into junior and infants schools but they share premises but have separate governing bodies. 

OFSTED visited the nursery and infants school in June 2004 and the report is glowing. The phrase "it is a very good school" is used in the report.  The teaching standards are exceptionally high with only 1% of lessons deemed unsatisfactory. In 1997 the infant school was reviewed in similar terms.

How do you get in?

You need to find out if you are in the "Priority Admission Area".  If you are you should be able to get in.  You can also check by contacting Hounslow Council at info@education.hounslow.gov.uk.

You need to complete an application form which can usually be obtained from the school.

The school is split into the Infant and Nursery School and the Junior School.  The nursery is from 3+ and the juniors start at 7+
