Westminster Under School

Academically charged and much admired prep school for the main Westminster school. Most of the boys go on to the senior school although some go on to Eton. The boys do have to take the exam to the Westminster but they seem to do well and snaffle up many of the scholarships going. There are 260 pupils from 8-13.

Classics are stressed, even at this age. They put on a Latin play every year. 

How do you get in?

Entrance is at 8+ with forty places on offer. Typically there will be 160 candidates for the exam, most of whom will have been put forward by their pre-prep as suitably qualified.
