Pupils will discuss concerns about educational reforms with Mary MacLeod MP
Students from Chiswick Community School will travel to London next week to discuss their concerns related to aspects of the educational reforms with Mary MacLeod MP.
Students from years 10, 11 and Post 16 will have the opportunity to discuss the possible implications of the changes proposed both within and outside of the recent White Paper.
“Many of our students are worried about the loss of EMA (Educational Maintenance Allowance), and the raising of University tuition fees.
"I am delighted that Ms MacLeod has agreed to meet our students and allow them to discuss their concerns”, said Tony Ryan, Headteacher.
The representatives from Chiswick will report back to each year group at assemblies after the Christmas break.
