Burglary suspect wriggles his way to freedom


Police seek surgical glove wearing thief

 

A resident of Manor Gardens disturbed a burglar as he returned home from work. The incident took place on Friday 3rd December 2006 at about 18.00 when the 37 year old male entered his home close to Gunnersbury Lane.

Upon hearing the front door opening, the male suspect ran out through the kitchen door. The home owner chased the suspect through gardens until he caught him by a fence. The suspect managed to wriggle free and get over the fence before making off along Gunnersbury Lane towards Acton.

The suspect gained entry gained entry to the flat via a rear ground floor window of a flat, but did not manage to take any of the victim's property with him when he fled.  The victim sustained minor injury to his right hand although medical aid was not required.


The suspect was described as a black male, 5’05”, 25 years, wearing blue jeans, navy jumper and white surgical gloves.
