Counter Terrorism Command Issue Image of Fugitive

West Mid absconder Zeeshan Siddiqui wanted under Prevention of Terrorism Act

The Met's Counter Terrorism Command have appealed for assistance and information regarding the whereabouts of a man who absconded from a control order imposed upon him under the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005.

26 year old Zeeshan Siddiqui broke out of West Middlesex Hospital on September 27 2006. Immediate steps were made to trace him and these inquiries continue.

Any member of the public who sees this man should not approach him, but should call 999 immediately.

Anyone with other relevant information on his whereabouts should contact the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321.

Siddiqui (born in the UK 20/11/80) is 5' 9" tall, slim build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anonymity orders are assessed on a case-by-case basis. At the time Siddiqui absconded, Police said it was their considered view that there was a clear operational advantage to the anonymity order remaining and substantial operational disadvantage in removing it.
