Ealing man pulled out of water near Brentford Lock
The body of a man from West Ealing was discovered in the Grand Union Canal last Tuesday (27th May).
Mohammed Tallal Ramjun, aged 26, was found by lock keepers who were doing a routine clean of the area. It is not believed that he entered the water at the site where he was found.
A post mortem found that death was caused by drowning and at this stage the police are not treating the death as suspicious. Initially it was thought the victim had been handcuffed but it turned out that there was just pieces of plastic debris round his hands.
