Thursday 18 October, 19.30
St Michael & All Angels, Bath Rd Bedford Park

Talks by the experts from the Battlefields Trust: Simon Marsh and Stephen Porter

Both talks will cover both battles, but they will take place in different venues near the scene of these events. Admission is free and all are welcome.

These presentations provide an introduction to the weekend in November 1642 when Brentford and Turnham Green were the scene of events which had a profound impact on English history. They will also describe the current project to promote awareness of these events with a battlefield trail and new educational material on the Battlefields Trust website.

The steering group brings together the following partners to support the Battlefields Trust: the Brentford & Chiswick Local History Society, Hounslow Heritage Guides, the John Hampden Society and Syon Park Estate.
