An invaluable resource providing support to children with disabilities

In the heart of Hounslow , on the edge of Inwood park, stands a lovely, purpose built single storey building which has been delivering a wonderful service to local disabled children and their families for 23 years. For 20 years before that the service was provided from any available space in various local schools.

Hounslow Toy Library is a charity which lends toys and provides twice-weekly sessions for its members and their carers and siblings. We serve children 0-19 and cover a wide range of disabilities. A significant proportion of our children currently are autistic.

If your child has a disability, you would be welcome to bring them along. You’ll find a warm welcome from the staff and volunteers and a relaxed atmosphere in which your child can play and you can make friends. Membership costs only £10 per year. At the moment we cannot run our sessions but are still lending toys.
