Massive traffic disruption after road closed due to burst water main
The North Circular Road (A406) between Chiswick Roundabout and Popes Lane has now reopened. The northbound stretch had been closed since Thursday due to urgent works by Thames Water to repair a burst water main.
The works caused massive traffic disruption in the West London area. Junction 2 of the M4 was also closed and at peak times traffic tailed back from Chiswick Roundabout to Earl's Court.
They claim that the impact on water services in the area was been minimal. Anyone who is experiencing changes to their water pressure is asked to phone the customer care line on 08459 200 800, quoting the reference number BB808402.
