Work on the Thames Path at Kew being carried out by Network Rail has required the towpath to be closed for several weeks.
There are diversions for walkers and cyclists in place on the section of the path between Kew Pier and Kew Railway Bridge close to the National Archives.
The work is currently scheduled to take place until Friday 23 November. Work will be taking place from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
During the works there will be no way through to Richmond and Mortlake.
