Transport Disruption This Weekend


Local train services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel on Saturday 1 March and Sunday 2 March the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Overground

Saturday 1 March

No service between Richmond / Shepherd's Bush and Camden Road. Replacement buses operate between Gunnersbury and Camden Road. Use the District line for travel between Richmond and Gunnersbury. Valid tickets will be accepted for travel on local London Buses services between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction.

Gunnersbury (for District line) - South Acton - Acton Central - Willesden Junction - Kensal Rise - Brondesbury Park - Brondesbury - West Hampstead - Finchley Road Underground Station (for Jubilee and Metropolitan lines and Finchley Road & Frognal) - Hampstead Heath - Gospel Oak Station - Kentish Town West (Kentish Town Road) - Camden Road

Sunday 2 March

Until 2145, no service between Richmond / Clapham Junction and Camden Road (via West Hampstead). (The suspension is extended after 2145 on Sunday). Replacement buses operate between Gunnersbury and Camden Road. Use the District line for travel between Richmond and Gunnersbury. A special train service also operates between Willesden Junction and Stratford via Queens Park. Valid tickets will be accepted for travel on local London Buses services between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction.

Alternative train service

Willesden Junction (Low Level Platforms) - Kensal Green - Queens Park - Kilburn High Road - South Hampstead - Camden Road - Caledonian Road & Barnsbury - Highbury & Islington - Canonbury - Dalston Kingsland - Hackney Central - Homerton - Hackney Wick - Stratford. Additional trains operate between Camden Road and Stratford calling at all stations.

Sunday 2 March

After 2145, no service between Richmond / Clapham Junction and Stratford (via Hampstead Heath). Replacement buses operate between Gunnersbury and Stratford. Use the District line for travel between Richmond and Gunnersbury. A special train service also operates via an alternative route between Willesden Junction and Camden Road via Queens Park. Valid tickets will be accepted for travel on local London Buses services between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction.

Hampstead Heath - Gospel Oak (Agincourt Road / Southampton Road) - Kentish Town West (Prince of Wales Road) - Camden Road - Holloway Road Underground (for Piccadilly line and Caledonian Road & Barnsbury) - Highbury & Islington - Canonbury - Dalston Junction (for Dalston Kingsland) - Hackney Wick - Stratford

Additional westbound only replacement buses will operate at 2335 and 0010 if required by customers at Hampstead Heath only, and will serve Finchley Road Underground (for Finchley Road & Frognal) - West Hampstead - Brondesbury - Brondesbury Park - Kensal Rise - Willesden Junction - Acton Central - South Acton - Gunnersbury - Kew Gardens - Richmond.

Alternative train service

Willesden Junction (Low Level Platforms) - Kensal Green - Queens Park - Kilburn High Road - South Hampstead - Camden Road

Tickets will be accepted for travel between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction on local bus services via any reasonable route.

Sunday 2 March

Amended service in the Clapham Junction area

Engineering work is taking place between London Waterloo and Queenstown Road closing some lines. Trains between London Waterloo and Chessington South will run between Wimbledon and Chessington South. Trains between London Waterloo and Guildford, via Cobam & Stoke D'Abernon, will run between Surbiton and Guildford. Customers should use other trains between London Waterloo and Wimbledon / Surbiton.

Journey times will be extended by up to 15 minutes.
