Arts centre unable to operate under Tier 3 restrictions
The Watermans Arts Centre in Brentford has announced that it is to close until further notice due to the London Tier 3 restrictions.
This means its planned Christmas show with Morgan and West is cancelled and its planned programme of films will not be shown.
The staff have wished everyone a very Merry Christmas and they hope to see you back in the new year.
The unexpected closure makes the #SaveWatermans Emergency Appeal even more critical.
A spokesperson for Watermans said, “As you can imagine with a third closure, it is more important than ever for you to show your support for the venue. Thanks to everyone who donated so far we reached our first target of £60,000 which is incredible but for us to be able to operate fully throughout next year, we need to raise £120,000 that will be a game changer. “

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets. We've always done that and won't be changing, in fact we'd like to do more. However, the readership that these stories generates is often below that needed to cover the cost of producing them.
