Playground Makeover Nearly Complete

New Boston Manor equiptment may be ready to open this weekend

Children and adults alike have been getting excited watching the children's playground at Boston Manor Park evolve over the past 6 weeks.

Linda Massey, who was on the contractor selection panel says that the whole process has been a joy.

London Borough of Hounslow provided the funds - Linda says the workmen were a friendly bunch and have managed to finish the project earlier than anticipated.

The area is now transformed and larger than the previous playground with additional equiptment.

The inspectors have officially been around so all it needs is for a little tweaking and for them to sign the project off and the temporary fencing will be taken down.

It is hoped that it will be as early as the weekend (29th March) just in time for the sunny weather!

......................and yes, Linda says she has been on the zip wire (but she hasn't sent photographic evidence so can't confirm this!)
