Pets were inside vehicle when it was taken
Owners appealing for the return of Cabbage (left) and Sam (right)
The owners of two dogs who were inside a van that was stolen in Acton this Friday morning (12 November) are appealing for their return.
The dog walker’s black transit van was parked on East Acton Lane at 10.20am when it was taken. Some reports suggest there were six dogs inside the van when it was taken.
One of the animals in the van was 12-year-old Collie Cabbage who belongs to former BBC Technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones.
Mr Cellan-Jones said on Twitter, 'Our dog walker’s van with our dog Cabbage in it has been stolen while he was picking up another pet.
'Please look out for a black Ford Transit reg AF20 XZD.’
Another dog inside the van is called Sam.
It is not clear at this stage whether the thief's intention was to steal the van or the dogs.
If you spot the van or the dogs you are asked to ring the police and contact @ruskin147 and @cheddardeli on Twitter.
