Crossrail Stations Dominate Ealing Civic Society Award Shortlist
Three feature in this year's nominations
The new Acton Mainline Station has been nominated
Ealing Civic Society has published its shortlist for its annual awards which celebrates the best of urban design in the borough.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony which is taking place on Tuesday 25 October at 7.30pm.
This year there are three of the new Crossrail stations in the borough on the list.

The judges this year are local architects Ania Lill and Gavin Leonard, with the assistance of Ellie Carter, an architecture student.
All are invited to hear about the winning project or projects and why the judges have made their decisions at Open Ealing, Unit 14, School Lane, Dickens Yard, W5 2TD which is accessed via the pedestrian lane between the Jigsaw (now ceased trading) and a restaurant called No 17 Dickens Yard. It is very close to the Springbridge Multi-storey Carpark. The speaker at the event will be Jane Mossman from West London Business.
Ealing Civic Society was established in 1967 by a group of people who were members of local residents’ associations opposing the Council’s radical plans to re-develop the centre of Ealing. It is not connected with any political party or the Council and works to protect and improve the borough in areas such as heritage, transport, planning and design.
