Adaptation of Chekhov's comedy is theatre's last production by Ronald Selwyn Phillips

 

When Barons Court Theatre first launched in 1991, Ronald Selwyn Phillips wrote a series of plays to help get it established.

One of his biggest successes was an adaptation of Chekhov’s The Butterfly, a comedy about Olga Dymov, a beautiful young wife who has affairs with young men all over Moscow, until she eventually meets her match in a Bohemian artist, Peter Ryabovsky.

Now, after being re-staged many times, The Butterfly is back.

The theatre says this will be Ronald Selwyn Phillips’ last production at Barons Court and is not be missed.

The Butterfly by Anton Chekhov, dramatised by Ronals Selwyn Phillips, is suitable for ages 12 and above. It continues at Barons Court Theatre, under the Curtain's Up pub in Comeragh Road, until 17 November at 7.45pm from Tuesdays till Saturdays and 6pm on Sundays.

Tickets are priced £15, or £12 concessions from the performance and tickets required to londontheatre@gmail.com. Then pay for them, in cash, when you come to the performance. The theatre days it will send an email acknowledgement very quickly.
