Join in local sport for free 18-19th August
Hounslow Leisure Centres, operated by Fusion Lifestyle, will be encouraging local residents to get active by attending one of the “Join in Local Sport” sessions held as part of the national celebration of local sport. The centres will be hosting special events, many of which will be free, to capture the once-in-a-lifetime enthusiasm for sport that this summer's events will generate.
There is a packed schedule of activities across all 7 of the leisure centres which are operated in partnership with Fusion Lifestyle, including FREE mass-participation Mega Zumba in Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre’s stadium, group exercise sessions FREE all weekend at New Chiswick Pool, and FREE swimming for Children all weekend at Isleworth Leisure Centre.
Cllr Ajmer Grewal, Hounslow’s cabinet member for leisure and public health, said:
“Following on from the Olympics, and with anticipation now building for the Paralympics, it is the perfect time for the local community to get active. We are lucky enough to have some fantastic leisure facilities, and I hope that as many people as possible take advantage of the opportunity try something new this weekend!”
