Ideas Galore as East Meets West in Brentford

If you have a wedding on horizon, then come along to the Wedding Fayre of the year, to see how ‘East meets west’. The event is taking place at the Holiday Inn London – Brentford Lock on Sunday 11 March from 10:30am to 6.00pm.

The ‘East meets West’ Wedding Fayre will provide a showcase for leading designers in a bridal fashion show which aims to capture your imagination.

Denzil Ratnam, general manager of Holiday Inn London - Brentford Lock explains, “"There are so many fantastic ideas available to brides today; that we wanted to showcase the very best. Whether keen on the traditional Eastern palettes of red, gold and white for saris and lenghas or a white Western cut bridal dress, we strongly predict that both audiences will pick up ideas from the two different cultures and have some fun combining them.

“These days, when it comes to weddings, ideas of what is traditional and what is modern are merging seamlessly together. The trend today is simple - whatever is right for the individual couple.”

With design inspirations from the East - a collection of modern style and traditional flair will provide a range of ideas for any budding bride. From the West, there will be offerings from ‘Always & Forever’, leading designers including UK award-winning designer, Ian Stuart, Pronovias-La Sposa, Maggie Sottero, Mon Cheri and many more.

Jean Sharman, managing director for Always and Forever, comments: “Our featured designers have made use of such a diverse selection of shapes, colours and fabrics, all of which can be seen at the Wedding Fayre. We will include contemporary clean lines and dresses with fairytale or fantasy feel to them.”

The Wedding Fayre will provide a great opportunity to meet specialist exhibitors covering every imaginable aspect of your special day, including John Lewis gift services, delectable wedding cakes and mouth-watering Indian sweets from Chhappan Bhog (meaning 56 delicacies) - supplier to Harrods - London's premier retail outlet for over 155 years. Find out more about stunning floral arrangements, photographers to capture every moment, bridal wear right down to exquisite jewellery to enhance your special chosen wedding gown. Furthermore, wedding coordinators will be on hand to advise you on your wedding requirements, as well as give you a guided tour of the hotel.
