Football Skills Workshop

  • Where: Cafe Bar, Hounslow Library
  • When: Saturday 6th April 2013, 11:30 am - 12:30pm
  • Admission: FREE

Come and take part in our fun workshop led by specialist coaches from Fusion Leisure. Brush up on your skills, or learn some new ones. You will also be able to find out what other sports are on offer throughout the holidays.
This session is suitable for children aged 6 to 12, no booking necessary.

Charity Bazaar - Haaya Sisters

Open Gallery

  • Where: Redlees Artists Studio, Redlees Park

On the first Sunday of every month the artists at Redlees Studios host an Open Gallery event. These showcases offer an opportunity to come and see artists at work, buy and/or commission pieces.

Money Makes the World Go Round

Moving millions: Hounslow’s place in the history of London transport

  • Where: Osterley Library
  • When: Thursday 25th April 2013, 7:00 pm - 9:00pm
  • Admission: £2

This talk is presented by James Marshall, Local Studies Librarian, Hounslow Libraries. The theme of the talk – London transport in Hounslow – is linked to this year’s Cityread and looks at public transport in Hounslow Borough, including the development of the Piccadilly Underground line and the trams, tube trains and trolley buses built by Feltham’s Union Construction Company between the two world wars.
