Plans for the relocation of Brentford FC go on show to the public

Plans to bring forward a new home for Brentford Football Club will go on show to the public next week in a further step towards the submission of a planning application to Hounslow Council. 

Brentford Football Club is planning to move from its existing stadium at Griffin Park to a new purpose built community stadium. The plans being developed will provide a modern, good quality 20,000 capacity stadium.

Before a planning application is submitted Brentford Football Club want to hear the views of the local community about their proposals. A Pre-Planning Submission Consultation Exhibition, where the plans will be on show and members of the development team on hand to discuss the plans and answer local residents’ questions will be taking place at the following times and dates:

  • Thursday 17th, 5:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Friday 18th, 1pm - 5pm
  • Saturday 19th, 9:30am - 12noon
  • Location: Griffin Park, Braemar Road Entrance

Commenting, Brian Burgess, Director of Lionel Road Developments Limited said: “Our proposal has two main purposes: first to secure the long term sustainability of Brentford Football Club and; second to provide impetus and assistance in the wider regeneration of this part of Brentford.”

“Our Public Consultation Exhibition will represent another milestone in the planning process and we hope lots of people come along and see the plans and let us have their views.”
