Film Quiz premières in Brentford's Lord Nelson starting a monthly appearance

The Lord Nelson are pleased to announce they have convinced Lee-Jay Bannister and Simon Williams, creators of the “You’re Going To Need a Bigger Boat Film Quiz”, to bring it West for the first time and let us host.  Currently selling out monthly in three venues in North and South London as well as a screening in Oxford it is a two hour audio visual film quiz, all projected on to a big screen (as a quiz fully dedicated to film should be)

The quiz has been going for over 10 years and now you have the chance to immerse yourself in the big screen, big sound experience as the multimedia quiz brings you pictures, posters clips and soundtracks from the world of film.

Richard Jones owner of The Lord Nelson in Brentford, which hosts many popular local events, says “I’m so excited this is coming to the Nelson.  I’ve been travelling over too Brixton to do the quiz for the last 5 years so the chance to host it here was not to be missed.  While a good film knowledge is required to win only a passing interest is needed to have a good time!”

The quiz will be on the last Thursday of every month starting on 24th March at 7:30pm and takes roughly two and half hours including an interval for marking and to refill your glasses.   Food is served till 9pm.
