A Weekend of International Music at Osterley Park

Part of Cultural Co-operation's World City Music Village 2014

An outdoor picnic Festival hosted by DJ Jamie Renton at the National Trust’s stunning Georgian estate, Osterley Park and House takes place this weekend on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June.

This forms part of Cultural Co-operation's World City Music Village 2014 (Wednesday 25th June – Sunday 6th July). This 12-day celebration of cosmopolitan London at its creative best will feature over 40 free admission world cultural performances in the capital; exciting and exclusive new Festival venues; guest presenters DJ Jamie Renton and DJ Ritu; and the first ever Music Village live stream.

The Festival will showcase over 100 London-based performers from Afghanistan, Brazil, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Colombia, Italy, Greece, Iran, Morocco, Peru, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela… and many more. Their joyfully diverse performances testify to the importance of creativity in generating intercultural dialogue, understanding and peace.

The 2014 Festival offers Londoners more ways to enjoy world cultural heritage than ever before, whether out in the sunshine with family and friends, in the intimacy of a local club or café, on the radio, or viewed on a computer through the Festival’s first ever live-stream:
