Bollywood at the Bar on the 12th February
On this Valentine's enjoy the ultimate Bollywood party experience in evening jam-packed with all things retro-Bollywood as Watermans Riverside Bar and Restaurant transforms into a filmi-style den complete with vamps and villains.
Along with free Indian tapas, fancy dress, Bollywood dance classes and karaoke, Mehndi, Mystic fortune telling, Bollywood cocktails, DJ, the chart topping Bollywood Soul band Botown will be topping the bill with an extra-interactive set.
Enjoy the ‘playful fusion sound’ where Memphis meets Mumbai as you listen to the mellow voice of lead singer, Ajay Srivastav as he serenades the crowd with ‘Roop Tera’, and invites you to dance to ‘Kajara Re’!
Highlights of the evening include lots of chances to dance to your favourite Bollywood tunes being played live while you perfect your Bollywood light bulb technique and Janakpur Jive on the dance floor, with music provided by a DJ to fill in the gaps while the band takes a tea break. Fortune Tellers, henna artists and much more to entertain you and help you party till the clock strikes midnight, with loved ones, family and friends.
BOTOWN is a popular and engaging band with a huge fan following. Their live sets feature percussion; guitar; tenor sax, keyboards, trumpet, rapper and a female vocalist. From funky Bollywood classics such as ‘Dam Maro Dam’ (from the cult seventies hippy flick, Hare Rama Hare Krishna) to contemporary tracks like ‘Om Shanti’, Botown invites you to dance the night away till ‘Kal Ho Na Ho!
