Local Conservatives make election pledge to increase them

Local Conservatives have pledged to give more vocal support to Free Schools and significantly increase their number in Hounslow Borough, if they are successful in the local elections next month.

Conservative Spokesman on Education Councillor Robert Oulds was congratulating staff and students of Reach “Free School” Academy in Feltham after a recent Ofsted Inspection gave the Academy an “outstanding” report. He said;

“Free Schools are the future of education and learning where everyone, Parent, Teacher, Pupil and Entrepreneur, can partake in education of the next generation. Hounslow Labour and especially the Labour Lead Member of Education Councillor Tom Bruce have been lacklustre in their enthusiasm for Free Schools.”

Councillor Oulds re-iterated Free Schools as "essential" and at the forefront of the need to ease pressure and demand on local schools. He confirmed if the Conservatives won the Hounslow Council Elections on 22nd May they would give more vocal support to Free Schools and significantly increase their number in the Borough.

Reach Academy which is only eighteen months old scored very highly in all four inspection areas: pupil achievement, teaching quality, pupil behaviour and leadership of the Academy. The school is currently having a permanent premises built.

Local Conservative election candidate Agnieszka Lipka and Patryk Malinski said they also supported the need for free schools in the borough.
