The Hammersmith and Fulham Brilliant Business Awards are back for a seventh time in 2018 with a chance for everyone in the borough to vote for their favourite local firms.

This year there are some new categories, including Best Tech Start-up and Best Creative Start-up, which coincides with H&F's new partnership with Imperial College London, Upstream.-

Whether it’s the small tech start-up you pass on the way to work, or the independent coffee shop you cannot live without, small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and our community.

In the Public Vote, everyone can nominate a favourite business in Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith and Fulham.

Every nomination made will be entered into a free prize draw to win a goodie bag of prizes donated by local businesses.

The five businesses with the most votes in each category are invited to the ceremony, with the winner being the one who gets the most – it’s that simple!

Businesses can also nominate themselve for a Judges' Prize in up to two categories, from this list:

The Green Business Award
Best Independent High St Business (Including shops, street traders, estate agents, dentists, optometrists, hair dressers, beauty parlours and more)
Best New Business (under 18 months)
Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year
Best Place to Drink (Including cafes, pubs, bars & juice bars)
Best Place to Eat (Including restaurants, cafes, pubs, street food traders)
Best Small Business (employing 10 people or less)
Best Social Enterprise
Best Technology Start-Up
