Hounslow Mayor Wants People To Make Merry

The Charity Christmas Ball will also help good causes

If you are looking to celebrate Christmas in style this year, and help a good cause, then the Mayor of Hounslow would like to see you. The annual Mayor's Charity Christmas Ball will be held on Saturday, 8 December and the organisers hope it will be as much of a success as last year.

Guests will be greeted with a sparkling wine reception followed by a three course meal and a DJ so you can dance the night away.

Taking place on Saturday 8 December in the Lampton Park Conference Centre, the evening will include an excellent line up of comedy, magical mysteries, a charity raffle and plenty of starry surprises.

This exclusive event is open to all residents as well as family and friends at a ticket price of £25 (with all proceeds going to charity). Tables can be booked for groups of 10 people.

Mayor of Hounslow, Cllr Pritam Grewal, said: “Many of you attended last year’s event, and as well as contributing to a very enjoyable evening, you helped to raise a staggering £20,000 for the Mayor's charities; I’d like to do as well this year with your support.

“I’m grateful to the sponsors who are supporting this event, which means that all the money raised on the evening will be able to benefit my two charities for this year.

“ This is an early treat just before Christmas and a great way to enjoy an evening out with friends and families, and I look forward to seeing you there.”

The event is being funded through external sponsorship to allow all monies raised on the evening to go to the Mayor’s chosen charities for this year: The Mulberry Centre and Feltham Bees.
