Free Parking for Christmas Shoppers
No charge for two days in P&D bays and Council car parks
Shoppers have been given another early Christmas present after Hounslow Council announced a boost to its free festive parking offer.
Hard pressed consumers looking for that last minute bargain will be able to spend that bit extra now the council has said it will be free to park in pay and display bays as well as all borough car parks on 23 December and Christmas Eve.
Cllr Ed Mayne, cabinet member for community safety and regulatory services, said: “We want to spread a little bit more Christmas cheer to all those hard pressed shoppers desperately seeking a last minute bargain for their loved ones.”
