Hounslow Council Appoints New Finance Director

Hounslow Council has announced the appointment of a new Finance Director.
It has taken on Jake Bacchus as Executive Director of Finance and Resources. He will be joining Hounslow Council from Westminster City Council where he has been Director of Finance for three years.
The role became vacant following the departure of Clive Palfreyman who left earlier in the year to join Southwark Council as Strategic Director of Finance having been with Hounslow Council for nearly 12 years..
The position was advertised at a salary of up to £180,000.
In his current role, Mr Bacchus is also Chief Financial Officer for the Council’s housing company. He’s led on several projects including the council’s £2.5billion capital programme and implementing a ‘green bond’ in Westminster, inviting residents and businesses to contribute to the City’s Net Zero ambition, the Oxford Street redevelopment and delivering fully electric, zero-emission waste collection vehicles.
