Handbag Snatched By Jogging Teenager

Woman pushed to the ground outside Bordeston Court during mugging

A woman had her handbag snatched from her shoulder as she made her way home from Brentford train station.

The incident happened close to midnight on 18th March outside Bordeston Court. The 31 year old woman noticed the suspect walking behind her on the footpath on the other side of the road as she made her way towards The Ham.

As she crossed the road at the pedestrian crossing opposite The Ham, she noticed the suspect had sped up and was practically jogging but she assumed that he was just trying to get out of the rain rather than catch her up.

The suspect grabbed her shoulder bag and pushed her to the ground and then ran off with the handbag heading away from the main road.

She described the suspect as being a white male, aged approx 19 years, 5’7”, wearing a black zip-up waist length jacket thought to be leather. Also wearing very faded blue denim jeans and a white T-shirt, short dark brown hair and slim build.
