Police Appeal For Witnesses To Serious Assault


After man is found in pub car park suffering from multiple stab wounds

Police are investigating an incident that happened at about 5.00pm on Monday 31 March in the car park of the Hair and Hounds public house on Windmill Lane.

A 43 year old male was found with five wounds to his neck and, according to the Police, is lucky to be alive.

This was the second serious assault in the Windmill Lane area in less than a week although it is believed that the two are unconnected.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and ask that anyone with information to contact Detective Inspector Jeff Minns on telephone number 0208 247 6133.
