Brentford FC Player Faces Stolen Goods Charge


Chiswick based Montell Moore bailed on his nineteenth birthday

A Brentford FC footballer has been charged with handling stolen goods and driving offences.

Montell Moore faced the charges on his 19th birthday this Tuesday 23rd December having been arrested the previous day in Chiswick.

The young midfielder who grew up in the W4 area and still lives there has been playing with Brentford FC since the age of seven having been part of a training programme run by the Brentford Community Sports Trust before being offered a place at the club's centre of excellence.

He made his debut for the club and scored in a memorable League Cup tie with Dagenham and Redbridge which finished 6-6. After that game he was given a three year professional contract but has since dropped out of the first time squad after new signings in his position.

He has been bailed to appear at Feltham Magistrates' court on 12 January 2015, charged with; - handling stolen goods, driving with no licence and driving with no insurance.
