Subscriptions Open for Hounslow's Garden Recycling Service
Option to apply for six months of collections over autumn and winter
Cuttings from your garden are collected nearly every fortnight
Hounslow Council’s Garden Waste Collection Service is currently open for new subscriptions.
The service, which opens twice a year, provides residents with fortnightly collections for all garden waste materials.
Residents who missed out on the annual collection service, which costs £55, can still receive fortnightly collections between Saturday, 1 October 2022 and Friday, 31 March 2023, with a break of two weeks over the Christmas period.
Residents who wish to benefit from the six-month collection service need to apply by Friday, 18 November at 6pm.
The six-month collection service, provided by Lampton’s Recycle 360 (wholly owned by Hounslow Council), costs £30.00, or £15.00 for residents in receipt of Council Tax Reduction.
New subscribers will receive a 240-litre brown bin, with Garden Waste sacks only available if a property is exempt from having a wheeled bin.

“The Council and its partners are committed to ensuring that recycling is easy and accessible for everyone in the borough. It provides innovative solutions that provide sustainability borough-wide, with a guarantee of all garden waste and materials collected being turned into compost and reused.
“By signing up to the Garden Waste Collection Service, you’ll be supporting the borough’s climate change ambitions, and contributing to a cleaner and greener Hounslow.”
