Boris Johnson must decide whether stadium plan needs further scrutiny
It is thought the decision was postponed to 'call in' the project for further scrutiny due to the number of objections received.
Hounslow Council granted planning permission to the club in December 2013 for a new football stadium and a controversial residential development which is being opposed by a number of local groups including a number in Chiswick.
The decision was subject to being referred to the Greater London Authority and Secretary of States for Communities and Local Government Eric Pickles for consideration.
Brentford Football Club have called on their supporters to email the Mayor to show their support. However a petition calling for the reversal of the Planning approval has also been lodged for those opposing the project, and will be sent to the deputy-Mayor of London Sir Edward Lister.
