New Development Planned For Former BT Site

Permission sought for residential and commercial use of Wheatstone House

Telereal Trillium has submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of Wheatstone House, the former BT offices near Chiswick roundabout.

The proposed plans for the Chiswick High Road site include 95 residential units, including affordable housing, as well as 460 square metres of commercial retail or office space.

Situated on the main thoroughfare between Chiswick and Brentford town centres, the site has been unused since it was vacated by BT in 2009.

A spokesman for Telereal Trillium said: “Following a consultation period with Hounslow Borough Council and engagement with the local community, we are pleased to have submitted the application for the redevelopment of this vacant site. As well as helping to meet the housing needs of the local community, the proposed plans aim to improve the visual amenity of this changing area”.

Rapleys are planning consultants for the scheme and Collado Collins is the architect.
