Two Men Plead Not Guilty to Harry Uzoka's Murder

Third man, George Koh did not enter a plea at the Old Bailey

Two men charged with the murder of model Harry Uzoka in Old Oak Road in Shepherd's Bush on 11 January have pleaded not guilty.

Merse Dikanda, 23, of no fixed abode and Jonathan Okigbo, 23, of Trevithick House in Kentish Town, pleaded not guilty to murder at the Old Bailey on Wednesday 4 April.

Dikanda also denied having a cosh on the day of the killing and having a knife on January 25, when he was arrested.

A third man, George Koh, 24, of York Way in Camden, did not enter a plea to the charge of murder and two counts of having an offensive weapon on the day of Mr Uzoka's death.

Mr Uzoka, who was a model with top agency Premier Model Management, died from a knife wound to to the chest shortly before 4pm on Old Oak Road, on the border of Acton and Shepherd's Bush. Despite an air ambulance attending, he was pronounced dead at the scene about an hour later.

His killing sent shockwaves through the fashion industry, with his agency describing him as 'dearly loved'.
