MyRaynesPark Festival To Offer Comedy, Art, Music, Poetry And Family Fun


Community arts festival takes place during ten days in June and July

My Raynes Park Festival

Now in its ninth year MyRaynesPark Festival is a community arts festival for local residents. During ten days in June and July, organisers promise Raynes Park will be full of comedy, art, music, poetry and family fun.

 

MyRaynesPark Festival is managed by Raynes Park Community Church with support from a wide range of local groups and businesses and sponsored by Wimbledon Foundation Community Fund, Tesco Bags for Help & Aviva Community Fund. Details of the events are below:

· Human Flow

Film followed by a discussion with Eleanor Harrison (OBE) of Safe Passage.

With technology and social media encouraging us to live faster with the projection of an 'idealised-self', the uncertainty of Brexit and rising fear in the future of our planet we’re living in an age of deep anxiety. Join Ian Mobsby as he discusses the practices from the new monastic movement that help build hope, peace and resilience. The evening will be a mixture of discussion, reflection and exploration.
