Raising funds for St Raphael's Hospice
The Woofs & Wellies sponsored dog walk on Wimbledon Common has so far raised £335 for St Raphael's Hospice.
Ten members of staff (and their dogs) from local solicitors, WH Matthews & Co, took part.
There was a figure of 8 walk starting with a shorter route of around 4km, with a break for refreshments at the start and finish point, followed by a longer distance of around 6km.
Solicitor Lauren Brown said they had decided to join forces because they wanted "to raise money for this very worthy cause". If you wish to donate to their cause click here.
She added: "Staff from W H Matthews & Co Solicitors in Sutton completed the St. Raphael's 10k Woofs and Wellies dog walk and have so far raised £335 in support of this very worthy cause. On the day the weather was fantastic and there was a great turnout. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all participants both on two and four legs!
"W H Matthews & Co Solicitors regularly support St. Raphael’s Hospice not only through organised events but have participated in the annual Wills Week since 2006 last year raising almost £1000.00.
