Bourne's Riviera Brings a New Seafood Bar to Brentford
Launch weekend also includes party for dogs

Brentford’s growing waterfront scene will welcome a new addition this weekend with the launch of Bourne’s Riviera, a seafood bar. It is opening at Corson Yard off Dock Road, just beside the Duke of London classic car showroom. The venue will make its debut on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August.
Bourne’s Riviera is marking its arrival with a two-day social and grill, running from midday until 9pm on both days. Visitors will be able to try as many dishes as they like, from oysters to grilled seafood, alongside meat and vegetarian options. Instead of a traditional bill, guests will be invited to contribute whatever they feel is appropriate, a gesture designed to welcome the neighbourhood and introduce the new venture in an open, informal way. Drinks throughout the weekend will be available from Plonkers Bar.
The launch coincides with another community event on the Brentford Riviera: a dedicated dog celebration hosted by Party Dogs London. Taking place on Sunday 2 August from 12pm to 4pm at the Duke of London, the takeover promises a lively afternoon designed especially for the area’s many dog-loving residents. The organisers are preparing a paddling pool, a huge ball pit, toys, games, artisan treats and a selection of local market stalls. A DJ, hot food, coffee and drinks from Plonkers will round out the festivities.
The event is free to attend, and families are encouraged to bring both their dogs and their classic cars. Hendrix, the much-loved canine mascot, will be making an appearance in the pink Mercedes, while artist Amy from Linkachuu will be on hand to sketch pet portraits for £20 each. The organisers say they are looking forward to seeing whether the dogs manage to outshine the cars for attention.
