A 73-year-old woman has died after being hit by a lorry on Greenford Road.

The collision occurred as she was walking at around 2pm on Friday, 28 October.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family has already been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and was not arrested

Enquiries are ongoing by detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage/dashcam to come forward.
