Hounslow Does Not Have A Knife Problem

According to local police

There have been two stabbing incidents involving knives on the Borough during the past few days.

On 17th June 2009 at about 4:40pm during a fight, a 14 year old boy stabbed another 14 year old boy with a knife in Twickenham Road, Isleworth. The suspect for this offence was arrested and was subsequently charged on 19th June 2009. He was denied bail, kept in custody and taken to Feltham Magistrate Court. The injured boy’s injuries are not life threatening.

On 19th June a number of youths were involved in a fight in Chapel Road Hounslow where a knife was used in the stabbing. The injured person’s injuries are not life threatening. Two youths were arrested and charged with Affray, they were denied bail and kept in custody until taken to Feltham Magistrate Court.

These two incidents are not linked.

The identity of the attacker in the rape of the young women outside St.Faith’s Church, Windmill Road, recently is now known to the Police.  The culprit, who it is believed does not live in the borough, has disappeared from his usual haunts.  The police are doing everything possible to apprehend him as soon as possible.
